Help Us Stop Restrictions for MMA Fans!

Boston City Council president Stephen Murphy wants to ban underage fans from attending mixed-martial fights. Under his proposed resolution no one under the age of 18 would be admitted to a mixed-martial arts event at the Garden— even with adult supervision.

Even the Boston Globe agrees:
“The Boston City Council shouldn’t single mixed martial arts out for special regulation beyond what state rules provide.”

There are already existing laws on the books in Massachusetts regulating mixed martial arts --- the sport is regulated by the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission. Under current law no one under 16 is allowed in to a MMA fight  without adult supervision.

Take Action Now!

Please contact your city councilor, or one of the at-large candidates and tell them the current law is sufficient.

And take two minutes and call Stephen Murphy now – 617-635-4376.
